Bon Iver Reveal Two New Tracks
Bon Iver released the two new songs, “Hey Ma” and “U (man Like),” which they performed over the PA system following their headlining set at all points East in London this weekend.
The studio version of “hey Ma” arrives three hundred and sixty five days after the band premiered the music during their set at Bonnaroo 2018.
“U (Man Like),” in the meantime, is centered around a peppier piano art performed by Bruce Hornsby. The music reveals Vernon singing within a chorus of other voices that also includes Hornsby, Moses Sumney, Elsa Jensen and Jenn Wasner.
Bon Iver’s last album, 22, A Million, dropped in 2016. More recently Vernon collaborated with Aaron Dessner on Big Red Machine, which released a self-titled album last year.
