Mikel Arteta is expected to be confirmed as the new Arsenal manager within the next 24 hours.
Mikel Arteta has agreed a contract, believed to run until 2023, to take over from the Sacked Unai Emery, and is expected to sign on Friday.
The Spaniard will return to the club where he spent five years at the end of his playing career, during which time he won two FA Cups and served as a captain for two seasons.

It is understood that Arsenal and Manchester City have reached an agreement over Arteta’s departure to take over at the Emirates.
